Group transport in Phuket International Airport (HKT)
Phuket International Airport is in the north of the island, close to Mai Khao beach, while most resorts are further south in Patong, Karon, Kata and Phuket Town. A pre-booked minibus or coach is the easiest way to get a whole group and its luggage to the hotel.
The airport has separate international and domestic terminals. It sits near the Sarasin Bridge to the mainland, which makes it a convenient start point for transfers to Khao Lak and Phang Nga as well as resorts on the island.
